Gus Hansen experienced a wonderful year on the WPT where he was the only gambler to achieve final poker table in three of the events. Gus Hansen has been seen on High Stakes Poker on GSN where he bought into the game for $400, 000. You might remember one of the biggest pots in high stakes poker history competing against Daniel Negreanu. He secured a huge pot with 4 of a kind against Daniel’s full house. Gus has earned many tv poker appearances and is deemed to be one of the best players around the world. While gambling on web poker, a different side of Hansen has been seen. Gus frequently plays in the 200/400 NL maximum buy-in of $40, 000. Hansen more often than not buys in for the minimum of Sixteen Thousand dollars and gambles very poorly. He sits there waiting for a good hand and then goes all in. I know Gus is an excellent poker player but not even close to the regular players at 200/400no limit. Unless he is penniless, he has little or no reason to sit at the game with the minimum buy-in.
